CAMP CAYUGA

We are the only Scout Troop we know of in the entire country that has exclusive access to its very own long term camp. Camp Cayuga is 80 acres of wooded forest, lakes and creeks situated in North Central Wisconsin, surrounded by thousands of acres of county owned land. Every year for nearly 75 years our Scouts have camped, swam, canoed, hiked, cooked, sailed. We’ve combined teaching wilderness survival skills, Leave No Trace camping, Safe Swim Defense, Patrol Leadership experiences, Citizenship development with fun activities galore. Historically, close to 90% of our campers come back year after year to learn and then to teach, meet and then to bond, forming friendship that literally last a lifetime. When boys grow into men, drifting off to different high schools across the city and colleges across the nation, there is always Cayuga. Most of our leaders at Cayuga today were themselves youths at Cayuga, or parents of Cayuga Scouts. We pride ourselves on a safe, nurturing, well supervised experience at a small fraction of the cost of other camps. We can do this because Cayuga is such a great experience even our staff pays the same as the youth to attend. Someone did the same for us when we are kids and we know most of tomorrow’s youth will be doing the same decades from now.
